Poire à l'Armagnac is an exceptional liqueur created from the subtle blend of Belgian pears distilled in our own stills and a 30-month Armagnac VS, produced at the Joÿ family estate in Panjas (Gascony - France). This liqueur, which contains no artificial flavours, owes its unrivalled quality to the premium choice of its ingredients.
First-grade native pears from the best orchards in Verlaine (between Huy and Liège) are picked when fully ripe, for maximum flavor and aroma. They are then chopped, fermented and distilled in our copper stills. The result: an authentic and exceptional local pear liqueur.
Next up is Armagnac VS 30 mois from Domaine de Joÿ, a family-run estate of independent winegrowers located in the heart of the Gascon countryside. Light, elegant and fruity, this premium Armagnac is distilled from white wines vinified on the estate. The Ugni-Blanc and Bacco vines are planted in the Bas-Armagnac terroir. This is one of the three terroirs of the Armagnac appellation. It is reputed to be the best in the appellation.
Our team chose to work with Domaine de Joÿ because they share our values of passion for their craft, tradition, independence, conviviality and high-quality artisanal production. And it's precisely these values that are reflected in the superb, generous expressiveness of Poire à l'Armagnac.
